Learning to Tell Stories Like Jesus

MarkSnowden

Learn to use Bible stories, dialogue, drama, and songs so that you can teach and reach others as Jesus did.

I grew up singing a great old hymn, "I love to tell the story." Jesus was the master storyteller and effectively reached people who could not read. There were no books and what was written was rare. Today much of our evangelism and discipleship is centered around reading and yet 70% of the world still either does not or can not read. Even in our churches many people are primarily oral learners. We need to develop better skills and methods for reaching oral learners.

Mark Snowden with Avery Willis has written Truth That Sticks. It was just released by NavPress and a helpful guide for building outreach and discipleship around telling the stories of the Bible.

CostaMeda Association will be hosting Mark Snowden in of 2011. He will lead an intensive study on how we can better reach our communities and disciple followers of Christ through story Telling. Time and place to be announced.
