Storying in a Day

Thursday, February 17th, 9AM -4PM
Storying

Hosted by CostaMeda Baptist Association

Event Location:

Calvary Baptist Church, Lafayette

Our Culture is driving a storytelling revival. It's animated and 3-D.

Yet Christ-follers are stuck in a literate perspective. Thankfully, through Bible Storytelling, it is possible to bring the Bible to life! In the Bible, it says that Jesus did not speak without using a parable. Are you willing to ask if Bible Storying is more effective in making disciples? We are not theorizing that Bible Storying will work. We know that it works. Bible Storying is being used of God to make disciples in church, colleges, prisons, and in the workplace. "storying in a day" will give you the basics to be comfortable storying and making disciples as never before in your own setting.

ON TARGET EVANGELISM CONFERENCE

FEBRUARY 21-22, 2011
On Target 2009

Marriott South Bay, Torrance, California

THIS CONFERENCE IS ABOUT TRANSFORMATION!

"The truth is that transformation is non-negotiable for the Christian church. But change is not the norm for many of our churches. We are supposed to see transformation, but too often we see stagnation." (from Transformational Church)

The 2011 On Target Evangelism Conference will challenge church leaders to focus on making a change for the better - to stubbornly focus on the gospel's ability to change people, church, and the world.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

March 6-13, 2011
Annie

The theme for 2011 is "Start Here."

The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions focuses on Southern Baptist mission efforts in the United States and Canada. Named in honor of Annie Armstrong who served as a missionary in Baltimore, this offering helps support the work of more than 5,000 North American missionaries. These missionaries serve through Baptist centers, language ministries, church planting, resorts and inner cities. The offering is traditionally featured near Easter each year. NAMB produces many quality products that will assist churches in emphasizing this important opportunity to support missions in our homeland.
