The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions focuses on Southern Baptist mission efforts in the United States and Canada. Named in honor of Annie Armstrong who served as a missionary in Baltimore, this offering helps support the work of more than 5,000 North American missionaries. These missionaries serve through Baptist centers, language ministries, church planting, resorts and inner cities. The offering is traditionally featured near Easter each year. NAMB produces many quality products that will assist churches in emphasizing this important opportunity to support missions in our homeland.

Dr. Randy McWhorter

FRESNO - "God has not lost any power here," Randy McWhorter declares. "There is a bright hope for California churches as they begin to realize that we are more like the First Century Church than anything else. "We are living in a culture that is anti-Christian," Randy continued. "We have to find not only creative ways, but we have to be very intentional about sowing the seeds of the gospel and reaching people for the Lord Jesus Christ."

Randy joined California Southern Baptist Convention (CSBC) in August 1999; he currently is Healthy Church Group leader/evangelism director. He spends some 200 days a year traveling throughout the state providing leadership to Healthy Church Group consultants, pastors and church leaders to enable them to attain and maintain healthy congregations.

Jenness Park

The Ministers' Wives Retreat, held annually at beautiful Jenness Park in the Sierra Nevada mountains, is a highlight weekend for ministers' wives throughout California. Women come to seek friendships with other ministers' wives, find support through prayer partners, share ideas for ministry and be pampered by the Jenness Park staff. Whether you come with a group or by yourself, be assured that you will be welcomed and encouraged. This year's schedule includes inspiring seminars, meaningful worship times, exciting recreation opportunities, special musical treats and much more! A prayer team will be available through the weekend as well as personal counseling sessions. The retreat is open to any woman whose husband is in vocational ministry (senior pastor or pastoral staff; full-time, part-time or retired).

Keynote Speaker: Donna Jones
