The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions focuses on Southern Baptist mission efforts in the United States and Canada. Named in honor of Annie Armstrong who served as a missionary in Baltimore, this offering helps support the work of more than 5,000 North American missionaries. These missionaries serve through Baptist centers, language ministries, church planting, resorts and inner cities. The offering is traditionally featured near Easter each year. NAMB produces many quality products that will assist churches in emphasizing this important opportunity to support missions in our homeland.

The Northern California Pastor's Retreat affords pastors an opportunity to be REFRESHED. Held at Heartstone Bible Camp in Potter Valley, this event is much more than a retreat. The schedule includes worship, preaching, fellowship and much more. Many recreational activities, from ping-pong to fishing, are available. Pastors will find this event filled with encouragement, fun and new ideas to take back with them. The emphasis for all of the scheduled and non-scheduled events centers on being, not doing.

Rodolfo Martinez

POMONA, California - Grandfather of four, Rodolfo Martinez likes to fish, swim, walk, and start churches. Throughout his ministry, he has always considered himself a missionary.

"The Lord has given me an apostolic gift to go and start new churches," said Rodolfo. "Since I was a pastor in my early twenties, I have always started new congregations. At my first church, we had five missions. Every place I was a pastor I started at least one new congregation."

Raised in a Christian home in Mexico, Rodolfo surrendered his life to the Lord at a youth retreat. After receiving a bachelor of arts degree in theology from the Mexican Baptist Theological Seminary, he earned a bachelor of science in psychology from California Baptist University, Riverside, and a master of art's degree in religious education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas.
